Amazing Tournament and....we're engaged!

Hi everyone, It's Marijo tonight as Bryan's internet is not working at the hospital since the storm this afternoon. Thank you so much to all of the people who supported us at the golf tournament. It was truly overwhelming to see so many people rally around us at such a delicate time in our lives.
For those of you who were not there, Bryan stole the show with a surprise marriage proposal to me at the end of the night. For those who have the time to indulge me, I will tell you the story below that led up to the proposal as it is quite hilarious.

When I went to get Bryan ready to go to the tournament he was pretty much dressed and ready to go, but he had a spot on his shorts so I asked if he would like to wear a clean pair. He insisted that he didn't have any, but I looked in his closet and he did, so lickity-split I had them off of him before he had a chance to protest as I was anxious to get him ready to go, but as I took them off an envelope fell out of the pocket. He quickly said to me "Give me that". So I did, but was a bit taken aback at his protectiveness over this envelope, but whatever, it was the least of my worries at the moment. So I proceeded to rinse the spot out and get him back into the shorts as he seemed intent on wearing them, but he just would not let go of this envelope.
We kept on going and I helped him outline his speech, so I knew what was in it and there was nothing about a proposal, it was all business and facts. So off we went to the event, him still  insisting that he hang on to this envelope. I soon forgot about it. As we were getting ready to sit for dinner, he suddenly asks me to walk to the far end of the tent and get a wide shot of the tent from outside. I am thinking to myself "there are at least 20 cameras here, why do we need this particular shot?" But again, I think, okay, it must be important to him so I march over there and take the shot. It turns out that he sent me over there so Ron and Marg could get a small silver box into his pocket, unbeknown to me.
After dinner was over, I roll him over to the podium to read his speech. I sat back down and prepared to try to keep it together for him as I can see he is nervous about talking and it was an emotional time. Well the video tells the rest of the story, so enjoy. I have included a link here so you can go to utube and watch it, courtesy of Crowe Productions. It was an incredibly special moment for me, and one that I will never, ever forget. I am so blessed to have met Bryan and so honoured to be his wife and life partner. Thank you to all who continue to walk alongside us.
