Birthday, family and friends...

Once again it was overwhelming the amount of best wishes I received for my birthday. Thank you again to all who sent me well wishes. I had a couple of visits throughout the day and then a family and friends gathering in the evening hours.
I had my first week of physio complete yesterday with everything going well, however the next few weeks many of my therapists will be on holidays. I have been wearing my new leg three times a day for an hour and a half each time, however, I am getting a few sore spots so the nurse told me to lay off of it for a day and possibly have it re-adjusted next week. I have a few new tools made so that I can use the remote for the TV and a cell phone. Enjoyed the Canadian Open and was disappointed that Mike Weir is out. Marijo and I are going to have a movie night tonight. Thank you for all the itune gift cards that allow us to watch movies from bed. We think we will watch "One Flew Over the Cockoo's Nest". It is an oldie but goodie. We enjoyed "Shawshank Redemption' a few nights ago.
Having a quiet weekend with Marijo now. Looking forward to a busy week of physio next week and I should get an arm for Pedro next week.
