Me again. Bryan went in for surgery tonight at 8:30 pm and I just got off the phone with the surgeons. Bryan is now out of surgery and doing very well. They found that they didn't have to do any more cutting of tissue, and just had to give it a bit of a clean out and put a drain in, so that is good news! They were super happy to find a lot of healthy tissue and minimal clean up to do. Once he is out of his fog tomorrow, we will give you a more thorough update. Thank you for your prayers and thoughts!
Great news! Everyone In Tennessee has you both in our thoughts and prayers! Debbie L.

ReplyDeleteWay to go Bryan. Great news. Things are looking up. I'm after Bill to do his physio today so his shoulder doesn't stiffen up. We will probably visit again early next week.

ReplyDeleteHi Bryan and Marijo. Bonne Fete St. Jean from all your friends and family in La Belle Province. Glad to know everything went well yesterday. Marijo is doing a hell of a job keeping everyone informed on your progress.
ReplyDeleteP.S. I think our Canadiens will do well next year considering they have an excellent goaler
named PRICE, your favorite defenceman P.J. and
Plekanec who should be able to supply all of his team mates with Happy Pills with his 30 million. Will get your personal comments on this when I see you, hopefully in the near future. Keep on fighting buddy.
Love as always,
Mary and Maurice
I am doing my happy dance all the way over here! Keep up the good work!

Dear Bryan:
ReplyDeleteI have sat down many times to write and have not been able to find the right words. I have scoured the web for quotes about courage and humility and humour, but nothing was quite right. Tonight, I found these words by Paul Bear Bryant. While not particularly eloquent, I think they capture, for me, at least, the man I read about every day:
There's no substitute for guts.
You are truly an inspiration, Bryan.
Peg
