Can this man take the Leafs to the Promise Land?

Hello everybody. It was a long, slow weekend with Marijo attending to our housing needs for the past 48 hours. Thanks to all who helped nursemaid me during the weekend in Marijo's absence. I look forward to this week as hopefully I might get a date as to when I can go to St. Mary's for my rehabilitation.
For anyone interested, keep an eye out in the Belleville Intel early in the week for an article as we had a lengthy interview with the Intel on Friday.
For those of you who were involved in posting a pphoto of me in a Toronto Maple Leaf uniform - shame on you - but this will only enable me to get better sooner as revenge will be sweet.
We don't have too many visitors scheduled this next week or two, so I would love to see some of you. Late afternoon, early evening works best. Just check with Marijo to ensure there are no conflicts.
I am excited to know that the golf tournament is sold out on July 27. For those of you who would like to join us for dinner that evening, that are not participating in the tournament, please let us know via email, and we will forward your name to the co-ordinator, Glenn Dryden. The cost is $23 per person, payable to the golf course (Trillium Woods,  North of Belleville) for a BBQ steak dinner with salads, rolls, drink and dessert and coffee. It will be a special evening as it most likely will be the first time I will be allowed out of the hospital, if all goes well. Please book your spot early so that Trillium is able to accommodate and so that you are ensured a spot.
Another upcoming event that has been planned for me is a Bocci Ball tournament on August 14th. We would love for you to join us, even if you don't want to play Bocci Ball. It is potluck, but there will be roast pork and roast beef on a bun provided. Everyone is welcome, but please RSVP to us and we will pass your name onto the co-ordinators, Bill and Linda Dudgeon. The cost is $20 per adult and $5 per child. There is a pool at the location as well, so bring a bathing suit and lawn chairs.
That's it! Healthwise everything is looking good. We will update in a few days.

  1. Hi Bryan, You are the nicest thing I've seen in a Leafs sweater in a long time. Even in your condition you could probably help them, especially with your courage and strength. Looking forward to seeing you when we go for the golf on the 27th. Leaving early tommorow morning for a week of fishing north of Lac St. Jean. Mary is becoming quite polific on the computer so she will look forward to news from you on the blog.
P.S. You can borrow my Canadien sweater if you want to hide that ugly one. Ha Ha
    Thinking of you always,
    Mary and Maurice
