I've escaped - yippeeee!!!!!!!

Hey, guess what? All of my IV lines for medication are not required as of this afternoon! So we decided to break loose and flee the building. It felt terrific! Reality set in when I had to go back in to eat my hospital food lunch mmmmmm...mmmm.
Going in for a cat-scan this afternoon as concerns still remain as to why my hip is not healing as quickly as they would like. The surgeon's are fairly confident that it is not more infection, which is good, but it would be nice to know what it is so they can fix it.
I'm doing my physio work every day under the guidance of my drill sergeant Marijo Corcoran. Don't ever get sick and have to report to this woman (see photo below for identification).

I have new wheelchair that has allowed me two to three hours of mobility each day and is just nice to get out of the room. People are still dropping by to say hello which is much appreciated, but please don't feel you have to bring anything as our cupboards are full....except for Emilie who said she was bringing a chocolate pecan pie.
I typed my first e-mail this morning, but was extremely slow. I have a device to assist me in pressing the keys as my fingertips are still quite sore. So all in all, everything is progressing. Still anxious to get to St. Mary's but it will be a few weeks away now. Happy Canada Day to everyone tomorrow.
