Hey everyone,
It's Marijo writing tonight. Bryan had a busy day today and by the time we got around to blogging, he was feeling a bit too tired, so I am going to fill you in on his day.
It started with a guest breakfast feeder - Marg Gray - she did a wonderful job, he ate much for her than he does me and even had his first real coffee. When she was done, he mentioned that usually following breakfast was bath time, but Marg drew the line.
As you can see from the photo, Bryan had a haircut today and we got some 'outside' clothing on him. I am getting much better at shaving him and actually look forward to the challenge. That blue tube you see hanging to the left of him is his fancy 'Camelpak' water container. It's a device that is used for mountaineers, but it works quite nicely for him so that he can help himself to water any time he likes.
He had a nice visit with Marg and Guy this afternoon and finished up with a light dinner and watching some dvd's and utube video's on prosthetics. Check out this link to an interesting article on Bionic limbs.
Bryan has been moved to a room that is more suitable for visitors so we are going to try to schedule in some visitors this week. He still has very little energy and a pretty busy schedule, so please check with myself or Ron to schedule in time to come visit rather than just dropping in. He would love to start to see some of his friends.
That's it for now. Have a great night and a happy Monday!
Looking good dad! Love the tee-shirt.
ReplyDeleteDragging off to work now...missing you lots.

Jenn

Hey Bryan: Welcome to the wacky world of bloggers. I hope you have better luck than I did - I ran out of topics to blog about after 4 years, and have resorted to asking others to blog on my blog for me, but it's just not the same, unless I'm in a battle with some minor institution like the Catholic Church. Oh well. Glad to see that you are still smiling, God can have a strange sense of humour at times, especially when He is assigning crosses, which apparently He does to those He loves. Dave and I will be up to see you when the curtain opens - in the meantime, try not to miss us too much, and remember, as Adam the Dreamhealer says, only positive thoughts. Take care my friend - see you soon. Jim
