A Special Treat For Me

So sorry to not have been keeping blog up to date. Days seem to go by quickly when we are now getting to go home every weekend. Marijo was able to rent an electric wheel chair for a month and now I have mobility around the inside of the home and even better for when we go on longer walks in the outside world.
A special treat for me last Saturday. My very dear friends (Ron, Glenn, Brent and Kinger) took me golfing. I got to go with them in a golf cart while they played golf at Trillium Woods. The golf that I got to see was pretty much dominated by Glenn. I had a beverage or two with the guys and thought I was in heaven...special thanks to Marijo to take me out and bring me back.
Since my home is now officially sold, Marijo and I are busy house hunting as we must vacate by October 1st. We have our eyes on a home in Belleville that might work out for us....stay tuned. Got to experience my first theatre show in regards to handicap seating...pretty good but you sit three rows from the front so it's pretty close. Marijo, Brenda, Bradley and I only put a 6 out of 10 rating for George Clooney, starring in The American.
St. Mary's have now set up a core strengthening program for me to get me stronger for walking. Tomorrow I will learn how to transfer from a bed to a wheel chair and back again. Walking days will be Tuesday and Thursday. My arm with all my sores is healing nicely. Leaving date from St. Mary's is more realistically the end of Octoer to mid November. I'm in wonderful spirits and so blessed that I am surrounded by great friends, wonderful family and the very best of hospital staff...and yes I do drive the nurses crazy....there is just something to be said for the Cuerrier charm....Marijo is just one lucky lady...even if she doesn't like to be hissed at .....hehe...talk later and will try to update this blog more often..I love you all.
