Bocci Ball Success

I got my first weekend pass where I was allowed to leave St. Mary's - they gave me my little bag of medication and their blessing so I could go to the Bocci Ball Tournament and stay over at my sisters house. I think there were about 150 people there and I saw so many friends, family, neighbours,  and many co-workers and was greeted by a round of applause when I arrived. I talked to the Trentonian reporter, so you should see an article in that paper (by the way: the article that was in last Thursday's paper was grossly inaccurate, especially when it came to our current financial situation, so please disregard the article - it sounded like we didn't have two pennies to rub together and we would have to go begging on the street soon!). Good fun was had by all in in the Bocci ball game as well as other games. We raised just over $8000! Which was amazing and to date there is just over $34,000 in the Trust Fund.
Upcoming events include a YMCA cycling event, maybe some running events coming up - one in Cinncinati and one in Belleville, as well as a raffle for a fabulous prize in the fall.
Again, Marijo and I thank you all so much for your ongoing support, both financial and emotional as we continue to go down this road.
