Drunken Sheep gets Xray

Quite a bit has happened in the last couple of days. Some good, some bad and some ugly.

The good: Having my first beer with the Gray family a couple of nights ago. Very tasty and I have pictures to prove it. Another good was someone in the audience heard my cries of getting a sore butt in my wheelchair (Alison), and brought me in a lovely lambskin for the chair, so my butt is now very thankful. A third good is that my hip is finally looking like it has finished weeping and is on its way to a good recovery. I am just around the corner from being cleared for St. Mary's which, I am told, is holding a bed for me. Another wonderful gift I received was some itunes movie certificates (from Cathy) so that we can download movies, songs and TV shows on the ipad.

The bad: I was told that I have contracted a hospital "superbug" otherwise known as VRE. To the healthy this bug is really not a big deal, and people that are in hospital for 2 months or more inevitably get this. It should not delay me from going to St. Mary's. Just as my hip is clearing up, I developed tightness in my chest and a shortness of breath. Fortunately I was going for a second CT scan on my hip so the doctors were able to do a CT scan on my chest. We have not heard the results back as of yet.

The ugly: Watching all the people cheering for Spain Sunday, and then crying after they loose to the Netherlands. Another ugly was when Kinger moved in for a kiss when he visited the other day. I still have razor stubble on my chin and the nurses suggest I don't do that again because I could bleed to death. Although not as satisfying for you, next time you can kiss Marijo.

On a special note: thanks to Max and Rob Haggerty at ITS Trucking for their generous donation towards the trust fund.
