A day in the park

Eleven stitches where taken out of my fingers today. Sure did smart a bit. We had visitors from Winnipeg drop by - Bill Dudgeon's daughter and family. That's Bill and Linda in the photo withg me in the park. There are beautiful parks and a waterfront trail by the hospital..I am getting outside for about 3 hours a day now - usually over two separate trips.
The hip is still tender and draining, but we are hoping that laying on my stomach during the day (doctor ordered) is helping it heal. CT scan has come back saying all is good in regards to this not being a bone issue.
I hear I am on the front page of the Belleville Intel. - finally my fifteen minutes of fame. Never been on the front page before.
I am getting bored. Really want to go to St. Marys. Just waiting for this darned hip to clear up.

  3. Hi Bryan, how wonderful to see you out enjoying the beautiful grounds and taking in the fresh air and visiting with friends.
We read the newspaper article and passed it along to our family. We have a lot of medical people in my family so it is of great interest when a medical marvel happens.
You will love the iPad. Den has had an iPod Touch for over 2 years and he finds it amazing. He takes it everywhere.

  7. Bryan,
I'm glad to hear that you are recuperating well and that you now have a 4 wheeler to get out and about.
I remember telling you after we went to the movies and saw Forest Gump that the whole message was really about hope. So "Run, Forest, run.
    Take care. Larie
