You give me fever
Had a little setback today. This is what is going on:
I have an elevated heart rate of 120 and a slight temperature rise of 37.8, which could indicate signs of infection. There is a very good chance that we will be back in the OR on Tuesday or Wednesday to investigate an area of my main hip amputation that is still leaking.
Sometimes you have to take a step backwards to move ahead.
On a good note: I had 14 stitches removed today in my left arm and right leg, and my hand is progressing nicely.
The rash it turns out, may be an allergic reaction to strawberries! When I was in my 20's I would get a heat rash in the spring and I thought it might be from strawberries. I had since forgotten, but I did eat a lot of strawberries the last few days.They are treating that with Benadryl.
I am still feeling good, and feel confident that we are going to win this battle.
I am overwhelmed with the golf tournament being sold out and the outpouring of support both financial and emotional.
The bocci ball tournament looks like it is heading towards being a huge success

Bryan my thoughts and prayers are with you daily. Lets hope they don't have to take you back to the OR and that heart rate gets back to normal. Love you, cousin Kim
