My baby is gone. I love my little Honda and I had to trade it back in. Honda Canada was very gracious in allowing me to return the car immediately as there was a few years left in the lease.
Marijo and I are also going to sell our home immediately and that will be in place for the weekend. Both houses will go on the market at the same time. So remember all of those people that said they wanted to help? Moving day is not far away.
On a cool note: St. Mary's on the Lake, which is going to be my home in the near future, has accepted me as a patient (or "talent" as they referred me). My case is very unique to them and they are looking forward as much as I am to see what kind of progress we can make.
Life each day is becoming more routine and acceptable to me. I know when my meals will come, my physio will show up, I know when they will bring my night sleeping pills. It has become a routine. Even though I don't leave my bed yet, I still find myself exhausted most days.
I have had many visitors, which is nice to see. Again, a reminder, I would love to see you all, just remember to book it with Marijo or Ron to avoid any conflicts with medical procedures or other family and friends.
That's all for today. Hope you all have a great weekend. See you on the range. Hit 'em long and straight. I'll soon be on the patio for drinks.

Sorry bout your car dad...I know how much you loved it. But at least you still get to keep your habs plates.
ReplyDeleteI will cross my fingers that yours and MJ's houses sell quickly and that is one less stress for both of you.
St Mary's sounds like it will be a new adventure for you. You are very special to so many people.
Missing you lots today in rainy ol Switzerland.

Honda folks deserve a big thank you. I honestly didnt think that the auto industry had any compasion, but I was wrong in this case. As always,
